On July 1st, a massive 5-year experiment on introducing artificial intelligence (AI) is to be launched in Moscow with the involvement of Moscow residents and companies developing AI technologies.
The central objective is to teach AI on the basis of a vast array of data and then to leverage it in various areas, including medicine, traffic control, traffic lights, lighting, thus making Moscow residents’ life better, safer, and more comfortable.
Vladimir Volkov, Deputy Director for Production at Innodata, broached his opinion to the popular online media Russian Planet, discussing the growth in the number of exciting and helpful AI-based solutions resulting from this ambitious project.
